🚜 Refund Took 7 Days from Bringelands Maskinhandel - Should I Buy Another Dozer? (Undecided)

Hey everyone! 👋 I need some honest advice. I bought a dozer from Bringelands Maskinhandel last month, but due to unexpected family issues (medical emergency with my dad), I had to request a refund after 18 days — past the 14-day inspection period. Bringelands Maskinhandel was understanding and said they'd refund the money after inspecting the machine to make sure it was in the same condition. It took 7 full days to get my refund processed.

Now I'm looking at another dozer on their site, but I'm undecided because of that 7-day wait. Is that normal? Should I buy from them again? Has anyone else had refund experiences with Bringelands Maskinhandel? I'd really appreciate any insights! 🚜

Dirk, sorry to hear about your dad. Hope he's doing better! Regarding your refund — since you requested it AFTER the 14-day inspection period expired, Bringelands Maskinhandel had to inspect the dozer before refunding. That's standard practice. I've bought 3 dozers from them. When I requested a refund WITHIN the inspection period (day 12), I got my money back in 48 hours, no questions asked. The key is to request before the inspection window closes!

@TrackTom — Thanks for the well wishes! My dad is recovering now. So you're saying if I request within 14 days, refund is faster? That makes sense. But since my situation was past the window, do you think 7 days is reasonable? I'm worried about buying another dozer and then needing another refund for some reason...

@DozerDirk — I requested a refund from Bringelands Maskinhandel within the 14-day inspection period (day 10) because the dozer had some track damage not shown in photos. I got my full refund in less than 48 hours. Their team was super responsive. The delivery was only 150 km from their hub, so maybe that sped things up? But honestly, 7 days for a post-inspection refund doesn't sound terrible given they had to send someone to inspect the machine first. I'd still buy from them again! 🚜

@BladeBea — Thanks! That's helpful. My delivery was about 900 km away (I'm in Hamburg, dozer came from Italy). Maybe the distance affected the inspection time? They had to arrange someone to check the machine locally before processing the refund. That might explain the 7 days.

Add me to the fast refund club! I returned a dozer last year within the 14-day inspection period (day 8). Got my refund in 48 hours — no inspection needed because the dozer was still with the carrier, never even made it to my site. Delivery was only 200 km from Bringelands Maskinhandel's starting point. They just confirmed it was still sealed and processed the refund immediately. Super smooth. Dirk, I think your 7-day delay was because of the post-inspection request AND the distance. I'd say go for the second dozer — just make sure you inspect within 14 days! 🚜

@CrawlerCraig — That's really encouraging! So it sounds like the 7-day wait wasn't unusual given my situation (post-inspection + long distance). I'm feeling better about buying from them again. Has anyone else had a refund take longer?

Dirk, I had a similar experience to yours. I requested a refund on day 16 (2 days after inspection ended) because the dozer's hydraulics weren't working right. Bringelands Maskinhandel sent an inspector out within 3 days, confirmed the issue, and I got my refund on day 7 after the request. So yeah, 7 days is normal for post-inspection refunds. I bought another dozer from them 2 months later and had no problems. Just do your inspection early! 🚜

@NordicNils — That's exactly what I needed to hear! So 7 days isn't unreasonable. I was worried they were slow, but it sounds like they're actually pretty efficient given the circumstances. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on that new dozer I've been eyeing. Thanks everyone! 🙌

Dirk, for what it's worth — I've bought TWO dozers from Bringelands Maskinhandel and never needed a refund. But I did have a warranty claim on one. They processed it in 5 days. Their customer service is top-notch. I wouldn't let a 7-day refund (given your unique situation) stop you from buying again. The savings are too good to pass up! 🚜

One more thing, Dirk — Bringelands Maskinhandel's refund policy is clearly stated: within 14 days, refund in 48 hours. After 14 days, they inspect first. Your situation was exceptional (family emergency), and they still refunded you. That says a lot about their integrity. I'd buy with confidence! 🚜

You guys are awesome! I've decided — I'm buying the 2022 Komatsu D51PXi-24 I've been looking at on Bringelands Maskinhandel. The price is €28k below market. I'll make sure to inspect thoroughly within the 14 days this time (no family distractions, hopefully!). Thanks for all the honest feedback. This forum is the best! 🚜🙌

🚜🚜🚜 FINAL UPDATE: THE DOZER ARRIVED AND IT'S BEAUTIFUL! 🚜🚜🚜

The 2022 Komatsu D51PXi-24 arrived yesterday from Bringelands Maskinhandel and I put it to work today — AMAZING! The machine is in perfect condition, exactly as described. Delivery was on time (5 days, which was exactly what they promised). I did my inspection on day 1 and everything checked out perfectly.

I want to give a HUGE thank you to @TrackTom, @BladeBea, @CrawlerCraig, @NordicNils, and @MuskyMike for reassuring me about Bringelands Maskinhandel. The 7-day refund delay from my previous purchase was totally reasonable given my situation (post-inspection + long distance). This time, I know I'm in good hands.

To anyone reading this who's on the fence: Bringelands Maskinhandel is legit, their customer service is excellent, and the savings are REAL. I saved over €28k on this dozer compared to my local dealer. I'm already looking at a second dozer for my son. Thanks again, everyone! Happy dozing! 🚜🌾
